I know Bill taught me how to do this, but it's been a while...
Did you sleep since then? Here's some help...
How to log in... http://yourdomain.com/admin (no, you don't actually type "yourdomain.com" -- substitute your own domain name...)
If your site is brand new and not yet "live", it's probably yourdomain.fullsetup.com/admin - it's in the email we sent. (You still have that, right?)
Video Tutorials
I slept way too long - I need a few video tutorials to get back up to speed. Review the Online Business Partner® for me... editing my site, ecommerce, email marketing, the works.
Do you make more selling your widgets than you'd spend paying us to do our artsy & geekish thing? Hmmm... here's an idea:
Give us a call.
We don't mind. Really, we don't.
In fact, we kind of miss that cute little website we did for you, and wonder what it looks like, now that it's out of diapers and is walking on its own.
We can take care of one-time issues, or we can babysit your site on a regular basis.
Probably for a lot less than you make in the time you'd spend to do what we can do a lot faster, since we have raised so many young websites...
The page editor shown in the "Website Editing" video looks slick, but how can I have better control? And it doesn't work in my old browser...
- Use the standard editor for better control and browser compatibility.
Shhhh!! C'mon guys -- I'm trying to do this in my cubicle when I'm supposed to be working for the man. I don't want to get busted with the sounds from a video!
- OK, here are the non-video tutorials
Setting Up Email
Moving email accounts from elsewhere
By the way, if you want to sell or take payments online, you'll probably want to set up an account with Authorize.net -- this connects your website with your credit card merchant account, for online payments with direct deposit to your bank account. You can do that online or the old-fashioned way, on paper.
If you don't yet have a merchant account, contact us for some suggestions of tried and true providers.
