Kim & Bill show off some of their work...

Shown in this "booklet" format are screen shots, logos, magazine ads, and "wireframes" (initial site concepts prior to development) for some of our clients.

Cocina Pacifica... the Peaceful Kitchen

To really appreciate it, you have to see it...

We had done a couple of other projects for Jim when he was living in Frisco.

So when he set up his boutique resort hotel on an isolated stretch of the beach in Baja California, halfway between the hustle-bustle of Cabo San Lucas and the laid-back artist colony at Todos Santos, he called us to do his website.

To get the true sense of the spectacular location and facility, he said we'd need to see for ourselves, and he offered to bring us down there. Only then would we be able to relate the essence of Cocina Pacifica on the new website.

Hey - sometimes website work is rough duty!

The site needs to change quickly

Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill

When the fish is flown in right from the source, and the catch  varies from day to day, the owner needs to be able to update daily specials and "catch of the day" themselves.

Sea Breeze, rightly honored as one of the best neighborhood restaurants by D Magazine, and by WFAA as "Best Seafood" in our area, can change anything on their website whenever they wish.

They usually update their site daily.

Stop by Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill!  You might see Kim & Bill and their spouses enjoying some of the best seafood in Texas, or picking up fresh fish to cook at home.

Locate the nearest installers

Safe Pro Safety

Customers need to find nearby installers.

Certified installers are entitled to a bit more recognition.

To keep the site up-to-date easily while satisfying all parties, tools in our Online Business Partner were used to find and map installers closest to a given Zip Code, and display a list in order of proximity to the customer's Zip Code.

If the installer is certified, a special indication is displayed in the list.

To keep it all up to date, our client merely needs to fill out an on-screen form to add or edit an installer's information.

Thanks for the repeat business!

Bark Hotel for Dogs

About once a year, Phil calls with a new project for us.

We never know what the project will be, but we can be pretty sure it will be some sort of upscale business catering to dogs and their owners.

Phil contacts us for his existing sites when he wants to revise the layout, but usually takes care of the routine changes himself.

Keeping the theme consistent throughout

Branding - DNA Consultants

DNA Consultants provides ancestral DNA testing worldwide. They exhibit at genealogical conferences and advertise in related magazines.

They needed their trade show banners, business cards, magazine advertisements, and website to all share a consistent theme.

One website, six languages

Playbook Management International

How's that again?

Hitch needed his site in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, and Japanese.

Online Business Partner® didn't even blink.

But yes, copy and paste was involved... (Bill's Portuguese was a bit rusty.)

Old customer, new design

Next Step Dance

The owners of Next Step Dance had plenty of experience working with the first website we built for them atop out Online Business Partner platform, and already knew how to add their own text and pictures whenever they wished.

So when they moved into a new facility, and wanted a glamorous new design for their website, they had us develop the new "shell" for them, and they continued to add and update their text and images.

In-house updates and online signups

Frisco Chamber of Commerce

The Frisco Chamber of Commerce hired us to come up with a design for their website, and then to build that website in a way that they could make their own updates, several times a day.

To make it easy for new members to sign up and pay online, we created a feature to collect new member information, and collect payment.

Their site probably won't look quite the same when you visit -- they change it daily!

Website Projects for Charities and NonProfits

We have a passion for helping our community -- both local and extended -- and hope you do too. Our support has taken the form of combinations of direct cash contributions, free or steeply discounted labor, arranging significant contributions from others, and more.

By creating a powerful website that enables online donations, event management, and a donor relationship system, the websites are often essential tools for the charity. Since the appropriate staff or volunteers can update the site themselves, their ongoing costs are minimized.

Magazine ads require special formats...

Magazine Ad - DSA Dermatology

Creating an ad for a magazine requires more than just a copy of a graphics program.

Kim's many years in the printing industry gives her insight rarely found among designers who focus on web graphics.

Online or Offline - Networking is Good for Business!

For some of our clients' online social networking, Kim designs custom Facebook page, like ours shown on the left.

She also designed the print piece shown on the left for networking groups, so those in need of business cards (and probably logos and websites) might give us a call.

Need a creative marketing idea?  Talk to us!

"It's not fair," Bill complains...

Let's face it. Awesome designs look, well, awesome. But Kim has it so easy... All she has to do is make some pretty picture - she probably traces it - and everybody goes gaga.

But Bill has to make it work, not just look pretty. Association websites where members can have and edit their own pages. Charity sites that take online contributions. Local directories. Whatever is needed.

If the website doesn't do what it needs to do, what good is it?

"Anyone can pound a keyboard," Kim says.

Whoo hoo, so people can look up dealer locations, website owners can set up events where their customers can sign up online, photographers can update galleries, or store owners can create catalogs and products quickly and sell their stuff online. Big deal.

Bill thinks those things really matter? Hah! It's the first impression that counts.

Miss out on that, and all the geeky tricks in the world are useless!

Stop fighting, kids. Don't make me stop this car!

When pressed, Bill reluctantly acknowledges that the pretty picture gets the attention, and Kim grudgingly admits what goes on behind the scenes, while more subtle, is also important. (But she glares at Bill and mutters under her breath, "it's no wonder he can do all those things given all the capabilities of our Online Business Partner. But it takes talent to create beauty!")
