"Quick Response Codes" -- commonly known as "QR Codes" have become popular ways for letting smartphone users get to a web page quickly and without keying in the web address.
These images are showing up on real estate signs as a way for people to view a listing and virtual tour online, in magazine ads to get people to a page with product details and perhaps a coupon, and even business cards and name tags.
Want a QR Code quick? Here's how:
1. Go to goo.gl
2. Enter the web address where you want to send visitors
3. Click on "Details" for that address
4. Right-click to save the resulting QR Code
